This is a simple reading card devised by John Veale Optometrist that replaces English wording with symbols and characters that are universally understood by most people where English words and alphabetical characters are not familiar to them.  Ideally suitable for children, those with an intellectual handicap or those who are unfamiliar with the English language and its alphabetical characters.
