Optica Acquires Eyeline Optical
Optica has acquired Eyeline Optical making Optica the most prominent supplier of optical accessories in New Zealand.
Christchurch, New Zealand, Oct. 31, 2022 — Optica, the leading supplier of optical accessories to optometry practices, pharmacists, and retail stores have acquired Eyeline Optical, a leading distributor of workshop tools, frame spare parts, accessories, and laboratory equipment in New Zealand. The transaction was settled on Oct. 28, 2022.
“Optica is the only New Zealand-owned and operated company offering a one-stop destination for optical parts and accessories to our customers who we’ve been servicing for over 50 years,” said Tom Nichol, Managing Director of Optica. “I’m excited about the prospect of expanding our product range whilst continuing to provide great quality products and service that our customers have become accustomed to.”
Purchasing Eyeline Optical furthers the company’s goal of providing the best products to optical customers and the community.
